Portable Smart Boards Support Interactive Learning in Questa

  • Local Champion: Questa Independent School District
  • Date Funded: December 17, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $12,492

In recent years, Questa High School has installed smart boards in several classrooms, which have supported interactive lessons and positively impacted student participation. However, most classrooms still lack any multimedia technology, making it challenging for teachers and visiting speakers to keep kids engaged while presenting important information. So, a district employee reached out to LOR for help purchasing portable smart boards, which offer the same interactive technology benefits while being easily transportable, meaning they can support more classroom and extracurricular community presentations.

LOR’s funding will enable the high school to purchase three mobile displays and computers, increasing the flexibility in presentation space and supporting student outcomes in Questa.
