In Weiser, it’s not a question of if the community will show up. It’s where.

Folks here regularly volunteer with their churches, gather at the library, and bond over high school football. And they show up for their neighbors: In a recent survey, nearly three in four said they had helped their neighbors or the Weiser community at least once in the past year. That commitment to investing in Weiser is clear from the nearly 200 projects locals have led with support from LOR since 2024. True to the town motto—We love our kids!—many projects focus on helping Weiser youth, be it by supporting school programs or providing hygiene supplies to children who might otherwise go without. But locals have also come up with creative solutions to support other often overlooked groups, from senior citizens to those living with disabilities. Bottom line: Weiser residents care about each other, and LOR community officer Jenn Huff, a longtime Weiser local, cares about helping them turn their ideas for making life in Weiser better for everyone into reality.
