Weiser High School Displays Restore Student and Community Recognition

  • Local Champion: Weiser School District 431
  • Date Funded: September 29, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

When a mandatory asbestos abatement project at Weiser High School required the removal of hallway cabinetry that had stood for over 60 years, students and staff were left without a space to display academic and athletic accomplishments. Though the district purchased new cabinets as part of the project, its funding didn’t cover the installation. So, a clerk with Weiser School District 431 reached out to LOR with a solution: hire a contractor to complete the project. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser School District hire a contractor to install the new cabinetry, giving students, staff, and community members a dedicated space to recognize and celebrate the school’s achievements.
