New Outdoor Venue Offers Affordable Event Space for Celebrations in Questa

  • Local Champion: Village Of Questa
  • Date Funded: October 29, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $17,912

Questa residents do not have many options for outdoor event venues when hosting private or public celebrations. So, when the LOR Foundation partnered with the Questa Public Library to host their annual Champions event in the courtyard behind the library building, attendees were impressed with the set-up and excited about the possibility of creating a more permanent event space. At their urging, two Village employees reached out to LOR with an idea: install a level concrete slab and two pergolas to create an affordable outdoor space for celebrations and community events, such as baby showers, weddings, and after-school programs.

LOR’s funding will cover the cost of the materials and labor needed to bring the community’s vision for the new event venue to life.
