LED Lighting Improves a Year-Round Weiser Community Space

Evening events at the Weiser Train Depot have long been hampered by inadequate exterior lighting, creating safety concerns for community members gathering during Weiser’s long, dark winters. Spurred by shortening days, the president of the Weiser Architectural Preservation Committee reached out to LOR with a solution: hire local electricians to upgrade the depot’s lighting. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Architectural Preservation Committee retrofit current lighting to LEDS, install soffit lights, and add an automated timer, giving the depot a safer, well-lit perimeter that supports community events.
