New Furniture Expands Capacity at Questa Charter School

  • Local Champion: Red River Valley Charter School
  • Date Funded: June 2, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $9,900

Increased student enrollment has led to overcrowding in classrooms and the cafeteria at Red River Valley Charter School, leaving students and staff in cramped learning and dining environments that affect comfort and the daily educational experience. Recognizing that growing community demand for charter education had outpaced existing capacity, school leadership reached out to LOR for help improving the functionality of their space. LOR’s funding will help Red River Valley Charter School purchase appropriately sized cafeteria tables, desks, and chairs to accommodate incoming students. This investment will improve comfort and engagement during instruction and meals, reduce overcrowding, and ensure the school can continue serving Questa families who choose charter education without operational disruption.
