IPads Expand Dyslexia Intervention for Buffalo Kids

Learning Tree Christian School is one of the few places providing services for students who fit the profile of dyslexia in Buffalo, but the school has fallen behind on the technology it needs to sustain its services. In need of support, one staff member reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Learning Tree Christian School purchase five iPads to install and run the updated Barton Reading & Spelling System program. The investment will allow Learning Tree to serve Buffalo students who fit the dyslexia profile more efficiently—an estimated one in five Americans—ensuring that students who need the support can access it close to home.
