Hands-On Learning Supplies Help Meet Buffalo’s Growing Preschool Demand

Demand for preschool continues to grow in Buffalo, but Learning Tree Christian School’s preschool classrooms lack the developmentally appropriate, play-based materials students need. Recognizing this gap, the school’s director reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Learning Tree Christian School purchase mixing bowls and lids, a barber shop pretend-play set, sensory play sand, toy washing machine playset, solar system model, and other educational supplies. The new materials will allow teachers to build skills across math, science, reading, writing, and fine motor development, meeting the growing need for preschool programming in the Buffalo.
