New Tech Keeps Weiser’s Library Safe and Up to Speed

The Weiser Public Library’s aging servers and computers have fallen out of state compliance for required internet filtering, putting the library at risk while also slowing down checkout systems and daily operations for staff and patrons. Library staff knew the outdated equipment needed immediate attention but exceeded the library’s tight budget, so they reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Public Library purchase three new computers and updated server equipment to restore state compliance and improve daily operations. The upgrades will ensure the library remains a safe, reliable, and accessible community hub for Weiser residents.
