Innovation Stations Transform Learning at Weiser’s Park School

  • Local Champion: Park Intermediate School
  • Date Funded: May 20, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $26,911

Weiser students at Park Intermediate School lack opportunities for hands-on STEM learning with their current traditional classroom setup. After the school’s principal attended a conference on preparing youth with technology skills, he returned with a plan to transform three classrooms into interactive learning spaces. In need of help, he reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Park Intermediate School purchase training tables, work surfaces, seating, STEM kits, 3D printers, and electrical upgrades to create three “innovation stations.” These collaborative learning classrooms will give fourth and fifth grade students hands-on experience in coding, robotics, and engineering while building teamwork and problem-solving skills essential for their futures.
