Classroom Chairs Enhance Learning for Weiser First Graders

First grade students at Weiser’s Pioneer School sit in classroom chairs that are at least 50 years old. Uneven, repeatedly repaired with mismatched parts, and unsafe for daily use, the chairs make learning difficult but with school budgets stretched thin replacements have remained out of reach. One Pioneer staff member heard about the work LOR had done with other Weiser schools, so she reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Pioneer purchase 125 classroom chairs across five first grade classrooms, improving the learning environment for students for many years to come.
