Banners Highlight Local Events and Support Questa’s Economy

  • Local Champion: Questa Economic Development Fund
  • Date Funded: March 18, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $9,350

For over a decade, Questa’s downtown light poles have displayed the same banners, missing opportunities to promote local events and attract visitors to support the local economy. One staff member with the Questa Economic Development Fund wanted boost awareness of local activities and attractions, so she came up with a solution to refresh these highly visible spaces. LOR’s funding helped the Questa Economic Development Fund purchase 95 new banners to hang throughout downtown, showcasing local events like the Farmers Market, Cambalache, and Healing Fields, as well as promoting outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. The colorful banners will rotate throughout the year, encouraging both visitors and residents to take advantage of Questa’s many treasures.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Localogy.
