Boom Lift Boosts Visibility for Questa Businesses and Events

  • Local Champion: Village of Questa
  • Date Funded: February 19, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $29,500

Without proper equipment to safely install banners and elevated signage, Questa struggled to promote local businesses, community events, and downtown initiatives that support economic vitality. When village and economic development leaders recognized that this equipment gap was constraining the promotion of local activities—and that reliance on external crews created scheduling delays—they reached out to LOR with a solution.

LOR’s funding will help the Village of Questa purchase a shared-use boom lift to enable safe and efficient installation of banners and signage promoting local businesses, festivals, and community programs. This durable community asset will serve multiple town departments and local organizations, increasing visibility along Highway 522 and other key corridors while strengthening communication and economic activity throughout Questa.
