Art Supplies Breathe Life into Weiser High School’s Creative Programs

  • Local Champion: Weiser School District 431
  • Date Funded: November 13, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $11,283

Weiser High School recently hired a new art teacher to revitalize its art program, but years of limited supplies have left the program equipped for only drawing classes. When the new teacher discovered the extent of the supply shortage and learned the district had no budget to launch diverse art classes, she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Weiser High School purchase the art supplies and equipment needed to add new classes like painting, ceramics, embroidery, and wire sculpture. The supplies will allow students to experiment with different mediums and techniques, developing essential skills like creativity and critical thinking.
