Adding Picnic Tables Turns Libby’s Mineral Park Into a Community Gathering Spot

  • Local Champion: Achievements, Inc
  • Date Funded: September 5, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $7,288

Located in the heart of Libby, Montana, Mineral Park should be a busy community gathering spot. Problem is, the only seating at the park is a single child-sized table, so the park is rarely used. One local resident suggested that outfitting the park with ADA-compliant tables and benches would make it a much more attractive place for Libbyites to gather. LOR’s funding will support the purchase of several picnic tables.
