Adding Instruments Ups Lander Youth Music Education

  • Local Champion: Lander local
  • Date Funded: October 5, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $5,041

When a Lander mom and music lover realized many of the homeschooled children she taught in Lander didn’t have access to the equipment they needed to get quality music education, she came up with a solution: Add a few key pieces instruments to the once-a-week class’ equipment to vastly improve the student’s exposure to instrumentation and music. LOR’s funding will help support the purchase of additional music equipment for a middle-school class that’s free and open to anyone.

This project is fiscally sponsored by the Lander Community Foundation
