A Digital Sign Keeps Libby Families Connected

  • Local Champion: Libby Elementary Schools Parent Council
  • Date Funded: January 22, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $21,756

Libby Elementary uses its outdoor announcement board to share important updates with families who don’t have regular access to email or text messages. The problem is the aging board has begun to lean dangerously into the school’s courtyard. And without remote access, staff must stand under the board to manually update its messages, a task that has made the sign unusable. One local parent wanted to support families and help them stay connected with the school. So, she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Libby Elementary purchase and install a new digital sign, ensuring all families can stay informed about parent-teacher conferences, school events, and other important announcements.
