Nets and Safety Pads Improve Competition for Weiser’s Volleyball Student-Athletes

  • Local Champion: Weiser High School Athletics
  • Date Funded: September 22, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $8,762

Volleyball is growing in Weiser, but the equipment at Weiser Middle School and Weiser High School is in disrepair and poses safety risks to players, coaches, and spectators. One local coach reached out to LOR with a solution: replace failing court infrastructure with a completely new system. LOR’s funding will help Weiser High School and Weiser Middle School purchase poles, nets, antennas, and safety pads—as well as an official’s stand and pads—allowing student-athletes the chance to train and compete with safe, modern equipment.
