Community Events and Leadership Training Unify Weiser’s City and County Workforce

Communication and collaboration between the city of Weiser and Washington County is limited, hindering the working relationships and coordination that benefit the community. One longtime Washington County employee had a solution: launch a series of community events and trainings to bring city and county employees together. After connecting with their city of Weiser counterpart and collaborating with the Friends of the Weiser Chamber of Commerce, they reached out to LOR for help launching the activities. LOR’s funding will help the Friends of the Weiser Chamber of Commerce purchase the supplies to host four quarterly events and four leadership seminars. Together, these efforts will strengthen collaboration between city and county employees, building the foundation for a unified workforce dedicated to serving the Weiser community.
