Youth Center Refresh Opens Up Opportunities in Questa

  • Local Champion: Village Of Questa
  • Date Funded: May 15, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $13,180

For years, community members expressed frustration that Questa’s Youth and Family Center remained largely unused despite its potential as a meeting and event space. The problem was that the center lacked the furnishings to make it a welcoming (and functional) environment for local groups.

A Village employee approached LOR with a vision to revitalize the center by refreshing the decor, making minor repairs, and equipping the building with comfortable furniture, updated technology, and kitchen equipment. LOR’s support will allow the Village to make these updates, enabling the launch of new on-site summer and after-school programs for youth and creating another valuable community gathering space.
