With New Tech, Lander’s Legion Baseball Teams Get a Major Upgrade

While baseball is popular sport among Lander youth, the Lander Legion League has been struggling to get the most out of the sport do a lack of technology. They have no way to announce lineups, play walk-up songs, sing the National Anthem, and make other announcements at the park. Furthermore, they have no digital systems to track statistics for players throughout the season. One parent reached out to the LOR Foundation with these issues in mind, and with a small grant the league was able to purchase a portable speaker, microphones, iPads, and other technology that will make the game-day experience all the more engaging.
