Wireless Mics Help Cortez Musicians and Actors Make Some Noise

Many Cortez residents love participating in community theater, but local productions do not currently include live pit orchestras because actors’ voices are drowned out by the instruments. One of the co-founders of Lamp Post Creative Learning Center recognized this limitation and came up with an solution. LOR’s funding helped Lamp Post Creative Learning Center purchase wireless microphones and other sound supplies. The new equipment will enable 20 to 30 musicians to participate in local theater productions, bringing more community members into Cortez’s dynamic theater scene.
