Organizational Technology Protects Client Privacy and Strengthens Libby Crisis Response

  • Local Champion: Christ Lutheran Church
  • Date Funded: June 24, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $1,447

The Libby Ministerial Association has long served as a trusted crisis response network, coordinating across eleven local churches to provide emergency assistance to residents facing hardship. For those in crisis, timely and confidential help can make a a meaningful difference. Yet the association’s outdated cell phone and lack of a secure, dedicated laptop create real barriers. One volunteer wanted to make sure the organization could serve residents reliably and safely, so she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help the Libby Ministerial Association (including Christ Lutheran Church) purchase a laptop, cell phone, security software, and other essential accessories, equipping the organization to manage case coordination, protect client privacy, and ensure that residents in crisis can reach help without delay.
