New Furnishings Improve Access and Comfort at Questa MVD

  • Local Champion: Village of Questa
  • Date Funded: September 8, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $434

Worn, outdated furniture and a lack of seating and tabletop surfaces at the Questa MVD office have long made accessing motor vehicle services uncomfortable and unwelcoming for older adults, families, and people with mobility needs. So a Village employee reached out to LOR with a practical solution: purchase an industrial meeting table and two sets of waiting room chairs to provide comfortable seating and a dedicated workspace for residents. LOR’s funding will enable the purchase of these furnishings, creating a more functional, accessible, and welcoming space for Questa residents and people from surrounding rural communities who rely on the office for essential services.
