Lander Locals Come Together to Discuss Economic Development

Over the past several years, organizations in Lander have noticed that some residents bristle when they hear the term “economic development.” People think it’s synonymous with suburban sprawl, loss of local business, and higher housing prices. To address this apparent misunderstanding, the Lander Economic Development Association is launching a year-long campaign to bring the community together in planning for the town’s economic future. Support from LOR will help boost social media posts, produce videos about what economic development means, and host community events that foster respectful dialogue.

This project is fiscally sponsored by the Lander Community Foundation.
