Event Equipment Helps Questa Students Connect with Community

Questa youth have limited access to consistent recreational activities and community events where they can gather, have fun, and connect with their peers in a positive environment. Recognizing this gap, the Questa High School Student Council reached out to LOR with a solution: purchase a maze, bounce house, obstacle course, skee-ball, inflatable axe throwing, face-painting supplies, photo backdrops, giant lawn bowling, ring toss, bean bag toss, and other equipment to host community events throughout the school year and beyond. LOR funding will allow the student council to purchase this equipment, empowering them to lead the creation and hosting of the recreational opportunities they believe their peers want and need while strengthening connection and community in Questa for years to come.
