Body Armor Protects Weiser’s Police Officers

Weiser police officers lack adequate protective equipment, relying on expired ballistic plates and outdated vests that no longer provide proper protection. After one officer recognized this life-threatening safety gap and realized the Weiser Police Department did not have the budget to address it, he reached out to LOR with his idea. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Police Department purchase 13 new protective vests and ballistic plates, safeguarding officers and helping them continue to serve the community.
