A $94 Investment Provides A Generation With Financial Literacy

  • Local Champion: Lander local
  • Date Funded: October 17, 2022
  • Grant Amount: $94

Lander’s public schools provide financial literacy curriculum, but the town’s homeschooled students—which includes children from at least 80 households—don’t have the same opportunity. One local resident came up with the idea of purchasing financial literacy course materials that could be shared by all homeschooled students. Total cost for this simple solution? $94. LOR’s support went toward purchasing the materials so all of Lander’s next generation heads into the world with a sound financial education.

This project is fiscally sponsored by the Lander Community Foundation
