Weiser Youth Grow Their Learning and Success at the Teaching Unique Thinkers School

  • Local Champion: Teaching Unique Thinkers Private School
  • Date Funded: September 30, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $9,656

Many Weiser children struggle to learn in traditional classrooms, leaving families with few options beyond homeschooling or sending their kids to schools in other communities. After watching her own son struggle and meeting other parents facing similar challenges, one local mother wanted to create a solution in Weiser. She decided to launch Teaching Unique Thinkers Private School, a school where students could learn at their own pace in ways that match their individual learning styles. LOR’s funding helped Teaching Unique Thinkers purchase essential classroom materials, including books and other supplies, ensuring every Weiser child has a chance to learn and succeed.
