Weed Clearing Restores Access and Guides Infrastructure Repairs in Libby

Libby’s Pioneer Park and Ski Dale Park are overgrown with weeds, limiting access and obscuring infrastructure in need of repair. One Libby Parks District staffer had a solution in hand, so he reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help the Libby Parks District hire a maintenance company to clear and treat weed overgrowth at both Pioneer and Ski Dale. The contractor will conduct an initial clearing followed by seasonal maintenance visits, reducing tall-grass hazards for park users and ensuring the district can accurately scope repair needs in both parks.
