Target Throwers Expand Shooting Sports for Libby Youth

  • Local Champion: Libby Scatterguns, Inc.
  • Date Funded: May 22, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $13,000

Libby’s youth shooters and scholastic clay target team don’t have access to a dynamic local course, requiring them to travel to other facilities for training. Members of the Libby Scatterguns club wanted to build a 5-Stand course that would improve local youth training and attract regional teams, so the club’s president reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help the Libby Scatterguns purchase three trap machines with controllers, stands, and shelters to launch the new course. The equipment will give local youth and adult shooters access to a varied, competitive course at home, while positioning Libby’s range as a regional destination for teams across Montana and Idaho.
