Shooting for Success: Community Goals Elevate Weiser Youth Soccer

  • Local Champion: Red Paws Soccer Club
  • Date Funded: April 15, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $3,100

Since launching, Weiser’s newly formed Red Paws Soccer Club has had more than 100 local players sign up to participate. However, the group identified a significant hurdle to its plans for a year-round youth soccer program. The problem? The tattered, rusting goals at local fields. Coaches with Red Paws Soccer Club wanted to purchase new community soccer goals that could be moved and would be safer for players. In need of help, they reached out to LOR. LOR’s funding will help Red Paws Soccer Club purchase new goals, nets, and field paint, giving Weiser’s players the chance to excel.
