Questa Students Share the News in a Film Start-Up Class

Many Questa Students have not had an opportunity to learn digital film instruction in the school setting. However, when the high school football coach began volunteering his time to teach photography, it prompted a discussion about offering a class in which students would film, edit, direct, and document videos about issues important to the school population. With this idea in mind, the Questa Independent School District reached out to the LOR Foundation, which was able to offer funding to pay a stipend for the new video instructor. Now, students in Questa have the opportunity to create a local school news channel that will inform their classmates about happenings around campus.
