New Women’s Network Fosters Community and Collaboration in Taos

  • Local Champion: Two Taos locals
  • Date Funded: October 22, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $5,000

While women have always played an important role in developing the Taos community, there has never been a formal network or space to support their ideas, connection, and collaboration. So, two Taos residents reached out with an idea: launch a new group that will host events focused on fostering connections between local women of all ages and backgrounds and providing them with resources to respond to the challenges and opportunities they face in Taos.

LOR funded the food, beverage, and venue costs for the Taos Women Connect‘s first five gatherings, supporting their efforts to build community and create positive change.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Downtown Taos.
