Library Landscaping Improves Entrance Safety for Questa Residents

  • Local Champion: Friends of the Questa Public Library
  • Date Funded: August 7, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $9,994

The front entrance to the Questa Public Library is often muddy and unsafe for residents and visitors. Recognizing an opportunity to improve the entryway, a board member of the Friends of the Questa Public Library reached out to LOR with an idea: re-landscape the library’s front entrance to stabilize and beautify one of Questa’s most-used public spaces. The Friends have already raised $6,000 through local fundraisers, and LOR’s funding covers the remaining costs for gravel and landscaping materials, plus equipment and labor to complete the project and create a safer, more accessible entrance for residents of all ages.
