Lander Female Professionals Get a Business Boost With Quarterly Connections

  • Local Champion: Womentum
  • Date Funded: January 25, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $5,838

Lander’s Womentum program—a peer mentorship program for women—has been connecting female professionals cohorts of more than 20 women for several years. Resource limitations, however, mean the program has largely only been able to focus on the current cohort and not the more than 130 alumnae who would also benefit from ongoing connections to other women. One Womentum alumna wanted to address this by creating a quarterly series of events to connect Lander women and encourage professional and personal growth—she just needed a little help to jumpstart the series, so she reached out to LOR for help. LOR’s funding will help cover the cost of venue and speaker fees as well as printing, paper, and other needed meeting supplies.
