Hydration Stations and Shade Structures Support Outdoor Activities in Questa

  • Local Champion: Questa Independent School District
  • Date Funded: March 3, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $6,000

Without proper hydration stations or shade structures, Questa students participating in sports, physical education, and other activities face unnecessary health risks during hot weather. After a windstorm damaged the sole canopy used for students, one coach and Questa Independent School District staff member reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Questa Independent School District purchase two portable water stations and two shade structures for their outdoor facilities, ensuring students and staff have reliable access to water and protection from the heat.
