Holiday Movie Nights Strengthen Family Bonds in Cortez

In today’s busy world, Cortez families have limited opportunities to spend quality time together. Hoping to address this problem, staff at the School Community Youth Collaborative decided to launch a series of holiday activities to strengthen family connections. LOR’s funding helped the group launch a series of holiday movie nights at the local Sunflower Theatre. In addition to enjoying movies and snacks together, families will receive books and themed take-home activities, creating memorable holiday traditions that support both family bonds and literacy.
