Gather ‘Round: Weiser Library Gets a Spiffed-Up Community Space

The community room at the Weiser Public Library is used by many different groups, but the chairs are old, heavy, falling apart, and difficult to move. A member of the Friends of the Weiser Public Library—someone who has been working to address this issue—attended a LOR Foundation event and brought forward her idea for improving the community space. With LOR’s help, the library will purchase new chairs that are both easy to sanitize and rearrange, so community groups can more easily use the common gathering space and better engage with their neighbors in a public venue.
