Essential Supplies and Milestone Trophies Support Recovery for Cortez Residents

  • Local Champion: Silver Lining Recovery Homes
  • Date Funded: February 27, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $5,000

Residents entering recovery in Cortez often arrive at Silver Lining Recovery Homes without basic necessities like towels, soap, food, and other household supplies, creating immediate hurdles at the most vulnerable stage of recovery. Seeing residents struggle with these barriers, one of Silver Lining Recovery Homes’ co-founders had an idea to help more people achieve success. LOR’s funding helped Silver Lining Recovery Homes purchase essential household supplies, $50 food gift cards, and milestone rewards like t-shirts and journals, creating a more dignified living environment and motivating residents as they reintegrate into Cortez.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Piñon Project.
