Emergency Equipment Protects Lincoln County Workers Responding to Disasters

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County
  • Date Funded: December 22, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $29,485

Lincoln County is deploying staff from their regular duties to help with the flood response in Libby, but many workers lack proper protective gear, identifiable clothing, and reliable communication equipment. County leaders wanted to ensure staff could work safely and communicate effectively during the ongoing response and future emergencies, so they reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Lincoln County purchase high-visibility rain jackets, protective boots, portable Starlink internet systems, and emergency radios for response teams. The equipment will not only protect workers in hazardous conditions but improve local emergency response for residents.
