CPR Mannequins Keep Life-Saving Training Alive in Libby

  • Local Champion: Libby K-12 Schools
  • Date Funded: November 25, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $3,000

For years, students, school staff, and volunteer firefighters have learned life-saving skills using Libby Public School’s CPR mannequins. But the school’s practice models, some of which are close to two decades old, have reached the end of their useful life, putting local CPR training at risk. One school administrator had an idea for a potential solution, so he reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Libby Public Schools purchase 20 adult CPR mannequins and eight infant models, ensuring students, staff, and first responders can continue learning essential life-saving skills.
