Classroom Equipment Supports Group Learning at Libby’s New Charter School

  • Local Champion: Libby K-12 Schools
  • Date Funded: July 14, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $6,065

Beginning fall 2025, Libby’s new charter school will serve 45 students, many of whom have experienced academic challenges in traditional settings. Hoping to create more collaborative classroom environments where students could develop teamwork and communication skills, one staff member with Libby Public Schools reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Libby Central Charter School purchase kidney-shaped tables, student chairs, mobile whiteboards, and other classroom equipment designed for effective group learning. The new furniture will allow teachers to create flexible settings that help students develop social skills while improving their academic performance.
