A Local Roundtable Supports Libby Business Owners

  • Local Champion: Montana West Economic Development
  • Date Funded: January 17, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

Owning and operating a business is difficult. It can be especially challenging in rural communities like Libby where there are often fewer opportunities to network and share experience and expertise. A group of local business owners wanted to bring PeerSpectives, a monthly roundtable program, to Libby so local entrepreneurs could collaborate, problem-solve, and learn from one other. They needed help getting the program off the ground, so they contacted LOR. LOR’s funding will support the training of a facilitator and provide 10 local businesses with scholarships, helping Libby entrepreneurs find the support they need.
