A Community Hub Gives Weiser Families a Place to Connect

  • Local Champion: A Weiser local
  • Date Funded: March 30, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

Weiser residents have few local options for family entertainment and social gatherings, often traveling to nearby towns for activities and events. After moving to Weiser, one local business owner had an idea to transform the grass lot next to her bakery into a free community gathering space. LOR’s funding helped her purchase tables, chairs, shade structures, outdoor games, lighting, and equipment to create a welcoming community space where Weiser families can enjoy movie nights, small markets, and other free events.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Friends of the Chamber of Commerce.
