Weiser Memorial Hospital’s blood refrigerator is failing, putting at risk $10,000 worth of stored blood that’s critical for local emergency services, surgeries, and daily patient care. When one Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation staff member learned the facility’s backup cooling system was the only thing keeping the blood supply viable, she reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Weiser Memorial Hospital purchase and install a new blood bank refrigerator, ensuring a reliable blood supply for Weiser residents who depend on the hospital for critical care.
