With New Tech, Lander Performing Arts Looks to the Future

  • Local Champion: Lander Performing Arts
  • Date Funded: October 31, 2022
  • Grant Amount: $4,500

While the performing arts scene in Lander has a long tradition, local organizations don’t always know what audiences want to see—and that can be a problem when it comes time to bring high-quality productions to town. To address this issue, Lander Performing Arts (LPA) hoped to survey community members about the cultural and arts experiences they would most want to attend in the months and years ahead. But because LPA didn’t have a data collection system or experience gathering this type of information, they approached LOR for help. LOR’s funding helped them purchase two tablets, install data collection software, and contract with a subject matter expert to create surveys.
