Warm Touches Transform Libby’s County Services Hub

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County Annex
  • Date Funded: November 19, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $12,550

Libby’s Lincoln County Annex Building houses local courts, health services, victim assistance programs, and a crisis center, serving as the central hub for the county’s social services. The problem is the annex building is stark and unwelcoming with harsh lighting, uncomfortable seating, and bare walls. For residents—many of whom are navigating significant personal challenges—the space heightens their anxiety and discomfort, exacerbating difficult moments in their lives. One county staff member wanted to create an environment centered around compassion, respect, and dignity, so she reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Lincoln County remodel common areas with warm paint colors, comfortable seating, local artwork, new flooring, and improved lighting. The renovations will transform the annex building into a calming space that helps reduce stress and reinforce community support for visitors.
