Upgraded Fitness Equipment Helps Libby Athletes Hit The Gym

Athletes in Libby love their sports, but many dread the weight room because they haven’t been taught proper techniques and, worse, much of the equipment they’re using is unsafe. Libby coaches have been working hard to address this problem and recently attended a weight-training seminar that LOR helped support. Armed with better information, the coaches have realized they also need to overhaul their equipment. With a grant from LOR, Libby schools were able to purchase an adjustable bench, curl bars, ply boxes, plates, slam balls, and other essential items that will help young athletes learn the joy of training off the field.
