Uniforms Revive Libby’s High School Marching Band

Libby Middle High School has not had a marching band for over a decade, curtailing musical education and leaving the community without an important cultural tradition. After students approached the school’s newly hired band director with a request to revive the program, the band director reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Libby Middle High School purchase uniforms, a marching baritone, two marching bass drum harnesses, and musical programs to re-launch the marching band. Dozens of students are expected to participate each year, performing halftime shows, marching in community parades, and returning a meaningful tradition that will be seen and felt well beyond school walls.
